The change of perspective for which the educational action is no longer focused on the figure of the teacher but on the protagonism of the students leads to the development and enhancement of the methodology of the flipped classroom. This new methodology turns out to be on the one hand engaging on the other it raises greater responsibility both in students and in the teacher as the class moves on activities well planned by the teacher and with shared responsibility among the students. I think the widespread use of this new teaching approach will be very fruitful for teaching.

Hi, dear Salvatore,
thank you for a very interesting comment. Yes, I agree, the role of the teacher has changed a lot, especially if we talk about the method of situated learning, where the teacher takes over the role of someone who is trying to direct the student toward the right way to achieve the learning goal. This gives students a better chance to become active learners, not just passive listeners, which enhances their learning greatly.

Best wishes from Slovenia,
Mojca

Hello, Salvatore,
Today, teachers don’t try to be just spokespersons in the class, with students being passive listeners. They facilitate an environment that enables discussions that help develop students' critical thinking, problem-solving, persistence, collaboration, and curiosity. And the method of the Flipped classroom is perfect for developing these qualities.
With best regards
